if you have that problem, turn up the heat and let it blow on max before turning off the car. it should get rid of some of the condensation inside the a/c system during summer. doing it every time is annoying tho.
That’s a good point. I have heard that some other manufactures are using an a/c after blow function on their newer cars. Basically, when you shut the car off the cabin blower will continue to run for a preset amount of time to dry off the evaporator.

Too bad MB took out the REST function from most of the cars. I'm pretty sure that this function would accomplish the same task.

the REST function in Europe is actually used for keeping the car cool or warm for extra period for a short trip away from the car say 5-10min. using it as a way to evaporate condensation is not that great. i've tried it. the a/c would smell worse than without using REST.

The REST function though doesn't keep using the compressor and cool the air, it simply keeps circulating the air to help keep the cabin vented.

yes, it only send out the remaining cool or warm air through the vents.
