AC Blower: Sounds like it works hard, but not much output air
My 2002 C320 AC blows air, but not much of it. When the fan is turned up it makes a lot of noise behind the dash, but not much air seems to be pushed out into the cabin. The air is nice and cold, but with black leather interior, it is hardly enough to make the cabin comfortable...and it's 100 today.
Anyone have a similar problem? It seems amost as if there is a restriction in the line.

does the airspeed change if you change which vents (defrost, floor, dash, etc...) it's supposed to be coming from? that would help determine if the fan motor was the problem or if the problem was something caused by the diverters (whatever they are called) that direct the air to different places.
