its probably throttle lag. Mercedes adapts to the "style" of driving. Once you reset the throttle it should be okay. IF that doesn't work, then there is other things that can do with it, such as air filters, spark plugs, change of engine oil, etc.

Unfortunately it's the car; I had a 2005 C240 4matic also and a couple of times I've experienced this as well. I also noticed that when its really humid you get the same throttle lag also. My best advise; make sure the car is in S mode and press a little harder.
