2002 C240 with Tein S-Tech springs, AMG VI Reps, and Grille Kit

Hello All,
New to the forum and MB ownership, so I need a little help. I have an 02 c240 and I just installed 17 inch E63 reps. I need to get rid of the ugly wheel gap. I am considering ordering some Tein lowering springs (2.3 in front / 1 in rear). Am I going to have problems with alignment? Also, why is there such a difference in ride height on the c23k? Can I bolt up the strut/springs from that car to mine? Just wondering. If there is already a thread out there with my answer, by all means hook me up. I checked the wheel/tire thread but found nothing. Thanks.
