2007 C230, 2008 Nissan Altima 3.5SE
2005 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE (shared with the parents)
Now 2007 C230 sport
This is my first Benz, and at first I'll be honest I wasn't to impressed. The car is slow in comparison to the Altima. However my parents just got a 2008 Nissan Altima 3.5 again and after driving that car I have such a new found appreciation for the W203. The handling the drive experience, the comfort is so far superior to that of a Japanese car. My lease is up in September of 2009 and I was considering getting rid of the Benz and getting a Infitniti G35 or Acura TL, but now I'm definitely sticking with the Benz hoping to get a C300 sport or if all goes really well on the work front C63 (this is a stretch because some things need to fall in place for it to happen, keeping my fingers crossed).

What i miss most about this car is the fact that i rarely ever see another one on the road. The 203 is another story. Also, it was a '94 and i sold it with 71k miles. I bought the c320 with 86k. And no, it's not a Legend!

'05 C230 coupe auto
Ok, in chronological order:
- 1990 BMW 325iX automatic. bought in 1999 with 70K miles. Sold in 2001 with 82K miles
- 2002 Acura RSX-S 6-speed. Bought brand new in summer 2001, sold in summer 2003
- 2003 Honda Accord V6 6-speed. Bought in summer 2003, sold in end of spring 2004 - car was a lemon. Dealer took it back
- 2001 BMW 525i 5-speed. Dealer gave this to me after taking back Accord. Got rid of this car because of too many issues in summer of 2005
- 2005 Acura TL 6-speed. Traded in the BMW for this car. Drove it till march 2006 when I lost the job and was forced to sell it
- 1999 Volkswagen Passat 1.8T 5-speed. Bought it for 7500 in March 2006. Needed to drive something without having a job. Sold it in July 2007
- 2005 Mercedes C230 coupe. Bought in end of May 2007. Passat was a reliable car, just aging. And plus I got a stable job and had the funds to buy a new (almost new) car

dude! that dc2 is yours? I saw it on craigslist a while back. its soo niceThe guy that bought the car made out pretty well. I was in the process of building it for turbo, so i rebuilt the engine with upgraded internals, so it should last another 180k.

Just spy shots with covers all over... the big management at my dealership got invited to an event where they got to see the new TSX (this was before it was out), the new RL and the new TL... the general manager said they had to empty out all their pockets before they could go in they were really strict because they didn't want anyone leaking production pictures.

Before the '05 C230, I had an '03 C230 sedan w/ 6-speed. Before that was a '98 Explorer. Also has an '02 ML500 in the family before the '06 ML500.

here is my trip down memory lane...
first car i bought for 3000 in 1993 when i was 16 back when diesel was 89 cents a gallon !
1977 300d
then i think i was around my second year of college when i got this
1984 190e
then there was a 1993 jeep grand cherokee in there after the 190 for about 5 years before i had this bought it in 2003 with 50,000 miles and trans died at 196,000 miles almost made it to 200k
1998 c230 regular 4 banger no kompressor
trans cost too much to fix ..i really wanted the 202 to last for a couple more years so i could pick up a used 204...but i picked up this a couple weeks ago
