Another 2000 W203 Aftermarket Radio Question
Here's the quick background: I'm from the US, just moved to Germany, and bought a 2000 C200 Kompressor.
I brought an old Alpine cd stereo from my old car with me, along with the wiring and a pair of speakers and other tidbits.
The question is I'd like to install this, so where are resources on the wiring and who is a good supplier for wiring adapters and the new DIN faceplate? I checked the search and came up with few threads on my exact situation (most were for replacing with another MB unit, which I am not too interested in doing), and/or broken links and missing pictures.
The other problem is while I'm in my German lessons, I'm still not proficient enough to speak on a technical level with local shops (haven't found any).
Can anyone provide any assistance?

w203. And yes, I'm 100% positive. Since we're in Germany, things come a bit early.
Everything from the vin to the title, to the part numbers are all 203.

Ok, found the dash faceplate adapter, found the ISO plugs, so now I have to wire those plugs to the wires on the stereo and plug them in.
I wonder how this will all work together, as far as the sub and door speakers. I have some Premier 6x9's with adapter plates for 6 1/2 openings I brought over as well. I'm gonna see if I can fit them in the front doors.
Any ideas of how this may pan out? I still haven't found info on outboard amplification and where the crossovers are for the tweeters. My 6x9's sound infinitely better than the factory system with the mid/tweeter/sub system.
