P420 CEL ? Anyone get this?
Got a P420 code the other day, which supposedly means the cat's not doing it's job. But I just passed smog in Jan with Flying colors, and the cat is only 1 year old.
I replaced the front 02 sensor but not the rear, so perhaps it's related to that.
Cleared it and it hasn't come back yet.

I get a P0420 code about every other week, but that is because of my issue with my Kleemann header/cat. Since you have stock system, I would also change out the other O2 sensor as well.

Funny I am getting this. I'll replace the rear 02 sensor as the one in front is new. If that doesn't fix it, she gets a new cat.
The muffler shop didn't have a problem welding in the new cat right?

Happened again the other day.
P420
Rolled a fattie and plugged into the intake.
Problem solved.
I'm not blowing 200 bucks on the rear sensor.

haven't got any problems like that on my Coupe (knock on wood).
I don't know what I'm going to do when my Coupe falls out of warranty at 100K miles
