With a military IP you better state whether or not you bought a US version.

2005 C230WZ SS Capri Blue/Ash
Welcome to the Forum. Great to have you on-board. And being military, thanks for protecting and fighting for what this great nation believes in.

Awesome color choice on the Capri Blue. I have an 05 C230 Sport in that color and I get a ton of compliments on it.

As for differences in the luxury vs sport models for 2001, here's what I can remember. The 01 Sport models came in all black interior, with the aluminum trim instead of the wood trim. They also came with the C7 style wheels, which are 5-spoke wheels versus the luxury wheels which are many-spoked. Wheel/tire size for the Sport is 225/50R17 whereas the luxury model has 205/60R16 I believe. The sports also were available in a purpleish blue color. I don't have my 2001 C brochure with me, so that's all I can think of right now.

That's mostly right except the older sport models 01-03 came with 16" wheels. The front bumper and side skirts are different as is the rear bumper (slightly). Also, the grilles were black and chrome instead of chrome and silver.

just so it's less confusing for you. if you are just asking 2001-2003 C320 sport vs 2001-2003 C320 non-sport. the difference are the following:

1.charcoal interior/black interior for sports only. choice of ash, oyster, tan interior for non-sport

2.patterned aluminum trim vs wood trim

3. sport front seats with slightly bigger side bolsters.

4. sport suspension (stiffer) and thicker sway bars vs non-sport.

5. 5-spoke 16" w/ 225/50/16 tires vs 7-spokes 16" w/ 205/55/16 tires

6. sport package includes premium leather vs option on non-sport.

7. different front, side, and rear bumpers.

8. CF looking b-pillar vs gloss

9. color keyed door handle vs with chrome.

The 04.5 ...05-06, and 07 again were all different in trim levels.
