Paddle Shift Mod Cracked
If i would get a steering wheel/ Airbag with paddles for a W204.

I know that C230 in my country(Thailand) already came with paddle shift, but I recently live in U.S. and my C230 doesn't have PS. I can get a pretty cheap used-steering wheel if I go back to my country.
My question is: Is it just plug-n-play with some trick on star-machine?

I have also new wheel with paddles. Im asking that is it possible to make it work by local MB dealer? I have Star in my use, but think it is too tricky to made it work.

paddle shifting mod on w203 any!
very Easy, 1 go to a junk yard buy a used floor shifter $150.00 remove the tiptronic switch buy 2 solenoids pull action 11.00 Each buy a box (plastic at electronic store. small enough to fit in your center glove box buy paddle shifts at MB stealership 110.00 remove steering wheel install same as BMW guy in previous threads run wire through steering using them as to close circuit to solenoids. the solenoids should work as if you were slaping the shifter and there you go. easy tops $400.00 i have pics if needed marrferr@gmail.com

Anyone done this lately?
I have a USA 2005 C230 Coupe and it doesn't look like there is anywhere to plug the paddle shifter wires into the clock spring on this model.
The 2008-2011 CLC 200 in Europe come with paddle shifters stock from the factory.
