Microphone wiring in coupe

I've posted this in the Audio and Electronics forum, but no takers..... A little help here ......maybe...?

I've installed the Motorola Hands free kit for my V60 (not the MB kit) and although I love it, I hate having to place an external microphone in the car, and routing the wiring, especially since there is a perfectly good microphone that came with the car.

Does anyone know where the stock microphone wiring terminates? OR, more importantly, where the wiring routes through the car?

The "brain", for lack of a better tem, of the hands free kit is installed behind and below my stock head unit, so ultimately I'd like to tap into the microphone wire and lead it there. I've pulled down the overhead console to reveal the wire, but I have no idea where it goes from there....

Any help?

The Bose mic is located in the black plastic circle thing just in front of the overhead light cluster. It looks like the wiring routes down the right side A pillar. I'd pull new wires up either side A pillar then through the headliner to that location. Don't bother reusing theirs.

I also have the non-MB V60 phone. How much is it for the hands-free kit that you bought? And can you show a pic of what it looks like and where you installed it?

Here is the link to the site where I purchased the kit.

The mount is specific to the C class, and can be purhcased at

THe external mic is ok, however, I'd still like to take advantage of the factory mic that I currently have no use for. I was hoping to find the terminal of the wires so I wouldn't have to snake a new wire up the A pillar and accross the headliner......

Here is a picture of it intalled.

You forgot the pic. Plus, that second website wouldn't show me the picture of the kit just for the c-class. All i got was a red x.

For some reason, the second link is missing their picture. Look at the mount for the older c class. It's similar in design..
