Grill Chrome Strps Question
Has anyone tried removing the chrome strips from the front grill? If so do you have any tips on the easiest way to get them off? Thanks.

are you talking about the oem grille or the CL grille? the oem grille is 2 pieces, one being the silver chrome/aluminum face and the plastic back piece that is black. you just pop tabs; they are located all around the back of the grille. you also have to pop it out from the slats; there are a lot of em'!

Yeah - It is not that hard - use some soft tools that are non marring if you want or grab a ton of little flat head screw drivers. Start at one side and start releasing the "one time snap" from the back. There is NO metal part - it is all PC/ABS plastic blend - so be a little careful!
Once you have a few opened - and if you run out of screw drivers...What I did for the Grille and what I do for the switch row electronics is to cut a small piece of styrene, card stock or what ever you have into strips that will fit into the slot - replace the tool with a holder that allows you to slide out the part!
