M112 phenolic intake spacers

These spacers are to be installed at the intake manifold/cylinder head junction in an effort help reduce heat soak.

Lowering IATs is an oft-proven method of increasing performance.

#65:

My extra pair are available gratis to any member (in good standing) who will put them to good use on his engine. Includes requisite gaskets and extended length fasteners, of course.

You’re welcome to PM, email, or simply reply in this thread if interested.

Considering I'm making the long drive back east again, I'm interested John.

Kindly pardon my naïveté, but I don’t know if your ’06 2.5L has a M112 or an M272.

The M272 utilizes an altogether different intake, so it’s a virtual certainty that the spacers won’t work.

Incidentally, I’ve yet to hear from gregr09. Of course, he still has the first right of refusal. If he doesn’t want them and they’ll work on yours, we’ll work things out.

I wish Merecedes were built like a small block Chevy engine- all small blocks have the same intake/exhaust port spacing (aside from the newest LS based blocks).

I would guess that since they have a differnt part number for the intake gaskets, then they are different
