Damn straight!

My opinion is that if a large majority of sedan owners want to split up the forum, that should be a factor as well. Otherwise, their voices aren't really heard too loudly.

You have been presented with two choices, not 20, there is no need for multiple polls. Forum members are more than welcome to post what car they have, and how they voted.
Bob can be the Sedanocrat and Session can be the Coupublican .

well...

I dont really care... but I voted against the split..

why?
I been ehre for a while and many of the mdos done to a 203 sedan can be made to a coupe.

Now therell be a 320 coupe that shared the engine with the sedan, and a 230 kompressor sedan with the same engine of the 2.3l coupe. Why should we split the forums?

I also been here for a while and I like to see what some of the sedan owners do to their cars... like BrabusCclass thats one damn hot 240.

Excuse me, this is one of President Jimmy Carter's unforgivable faux paux... unforgivable, because he served aboard a "newkular" sub in the Navy. Oh, and last time I checked, Jimmy was a "crat," too. Just keeping it real...

OK, I'd like to be the first Coupunist, then. "Coupommunist" is too much of a mouthful.

So, will a decision be made before the next New Year's, or is the poll the final end-all, and it's already been decided to keep them together?

Bob, at least he served.

Leave it to the coupunist to make demands upon a democracy.

No decisions have been made yet... The average democrat would understand this. I know several who are still counting votes from 2000...

Bush "served" in the national guard... the same people on notice to leave for the middle east this Friday...

Oh, please! Flying friends around TX doesn't count as serving in my book. There was absolutely no chance that he would do anything else. At least Gore went overseas, though his job was just as cushy. Next you'll be telling me that Bush actually won the election.

He did...

I suppose if Hillary runs in '08, she'll be beyond consideration automatically because she didn't "serve..." Just ask Wild Bill... He knows she didn't serve... no wait, that would be in another context... (LOL!)

Are you sure you're not a coupocrat?

Since tommy took coupunist, I'll become the resident coupocialist. Sort of the same, but not really.

Here's my favorite question about election 2000 - how many people voted?

Actually, a lot of the older Navy guys pronouce it "newkular" for some reason. GW probably picked it up from his pop.

I called today, in response to your post. Waiting on a callback.

He thought that they could slightly modify a link that they use on BMWs that lengthens the shift linkage below the ball (which causes the shifts to be shorter - attacking the problem from the other side, as it were), but we wanted to get the car up in the air to make sure that it'll work.

So, hopefully, we can get this project back up soon enough. He also thought that they'd have no problem with a billet knob as well. I'll post when I know something.

It's surrealistically strange to me that we let our military play with such nasty toys when they can't be taught the most fundamental aspects of such toys, such as calling them by the correct name. Same applies to our politicians (of all stripes).

Back on point... If we add the I don't cares (16) to the Yes's (61), we now have a split vote (77 to 77).

And why would you do that? Have you ever seen one group's votes given to another? The best thing is to ignore the "I don't care" votes. In a real election, they wouldn't have bothered going to the polls. In fact, that option should never have been on this poll. The "No's" are winning 55.8% to 44.2%. In a Presidential election, this would be called a "landslide".

This is beginning to remind me of a St. Louis election. We'll leave the polls open until we get the results we want.

Lynn, you take my comment too seriously. I was just having some fun. As a coupopublican, I wouldn't advocate counting "I don't cares" any more than I would advocate counting "hanging chads..." That would make me a coupocrat...

No, I was just trying to get the thread "discussion" back on track, after having participated myself in getting it somewhat derailled.
