Need a mechanics advice for my '03 C230 kompressor
I have been hearing a rattling and squeaking when I put my car in drive or if it is idling. I believe the squeaking is the serpentine belt. It rattles really bad when the car is put in reverse (also squeaks). Most of the time the squeak and rattle will quit or not be as loud when I turn the A.C. off. We have already changed the serpentine belt, however the squeak came back the next day. It seems to get squeakier the warmer the temperature is outside.
Help!!! Any ideas?

actually, how many miles are on the car?
Does it clunk a bit when you go into gears?
If so, it would be your motor mounts. I had the same rattles. Drove me Bat **** looking underneath the car, tracing the exhaust for movement.
Worn motor mounts will allow for excess movement.
