I'm in Mission Viejo on a lot of weekends... I don't think I really need to do anything to my car right now but I wouldn't mind caravaning up from OC just to meet up and check out other member's cars.

Put it out on the Benzsport website (now bnzsport.com) as they get tons of people on their get togethers. Call it a GTG instead of a tech session and you'll get more people, the lift and tools will just be a bonus. Who's bringing the poster girls in the tight bikinis?

I have springs and sway bars to install on the way.
And a pulley would be nice, if one could be had in time.

I have an electric wrench and most of my own tools.
Just need some of them fancy tools like the special spring compressors etc.

So, I'd be willing to make the 6 hour drive if I could do all this at once......

Lets see if I leave at 2am........

we call it a TechSession on the BMW board and get plenty of members each time. Some guys over there complain that we don't have enough of them. The MB guys just don't do as many mods I guess

they have tech sessions at dealer at my old Audi dealer as well. MB kinda sux at that (well i figure MB drivers, majority, really dont care whats under the hood or under the car) the technology is cool but seems too much of a lazy man's car sometime with all the gadgets, automation and assistance.

I've spoken to at least 2 people that are interested but didn't get any feedback from Simon when they sent e-mails or called. As we get closer I think you'll need to post in the gatherings and events to get a tally. I got my muffler so I'm ready to install it!!!

Yes, I actually did get a confirmation, but I think I was the first person to email in... However, since then I've sent three emails that never got answered, asking about parts I wanted to buy, the intercooler you mentioned, and trying to get an address or directions for the site. I'm afraid it sounds like they're not very interested in doing it, which worries me since I just got my swaybars and am anxious to get them installed.. I guess I might just have to pay someone to install them (as I lack the tools). Any suggestions of places to try?

You should check with Kwik. (up a couple posts). He's done a few install of sways and springs/shocks for some others. Does good work and at a very reasonable price.
