In need of new bumper
Today i got home from work, pulled in the driveway, backed up to my normal parking spot and came a little too close to a newly placed flower pot. (Thanks, mom haha) It put a good sized dent and scratched the black paint off. Where can i find a good quality rear bumper for a 2004 c230 coupe, i'd like to get one that had the stock black paint if i could so i don't have to mess around with painting it. Which models and years will fit?
(wow im a dumbass) haha, lata.
Thanks,
Grant.

Bumper will be about 350-400 if you order online from an mb dealer that sells online for the stock one.
Paint another 200 or so. I know, cause I did something similar. Total about $600. But if you let it go, IMHO then things down the road, you start giving up. Nip it in the bud.
If you decide to DIY PM me with an email address. I have some pdf's on removing the bumper. You can drop off the new one for paint off the car, have it painted them swap 'em. It's not hard, but it's a bit of work, takes about maybe 2-4 hours total. Helps to have 2 people when putting the new one on, so you don't scratch it!
Basically the bumper unbolts from inside the trunk, + a couple clips and bolts in the wheel wells.
Then you swap the internal pieces of the bumper, and bolt it to the actual metal bumper. You'll also need a pop rivet gun and a drill to replace the rivets. Pop rivet gun at any hardware store for cheap.
FYI-
PN for the rear bumper- 2038851225
I paid 328.50 + 35 shipping from Duval a year ago.
Dealer quoted me 2 grand, so I saved $1300 at least.
Currently showing $350 at parts.com
