Question anybody using chrome headlamp rings?

Mine are starting to come off in some places. I was just wondering how do I take the entire thing off without causing damage to the rings.

I'd like to remove them, clean them, and then re-apply using better double-sided tape.

Any suggestions? Other than that, I was thinking long hours with a blowdryer

If they don't come off easily by pulling, your best bet is exactly this. Warm up the glue until it releases easier. Be careful though, I bet it doesn't take much to crack them when you are pulling on them.

Blow dryer, if you use automotive trim adhesive when you reinstall, they will never come off under normal everyday driving.

Extra adhesive tape is needed

When I first put mine on they did not stick properly at all. I finally looked at the skimpy adhesive tape and realized more was needed. I purchased 3M (very important) tape at the local parts store added the extra tape in spots I noticed the lifting and it's been great since.

Good luck.
