So it's been a year since i've joined Mbworld and so i've decided to make my own thread of my mods throughout the year. Been STFing alot and learned a few tricks of the trade. Met a few people and learned alot from them.

My Mod list: (sorry its not in order)
1. Stoptech SS brake lines (FR already purchased) - Will be installing next week
2. '05 mirror blinkers (ordering next week)
3. OEM side markers (will be painted with bumper)
4. New hood insulation cover
5. h&r swaybars
6. Tein basic c/o's
7. Cross drilled rotors from k1
8. Quad exhaust setup (still debating)
9. Chrome door pins and surrounds (currently gave away my brabus door pins to slammer)
10. New engine cover (painted custom)
11. Real CF 3-piece center trims
12. Renntech and Lorinser roof/trunk spoilers
13. Renntech pulley (any other options for me? ASP doesn't manufacture for the 1.8L coupe)
14. Green air filter
15. '05 tail lights
16. '05 clear headlights (BiXenon is not on budget yet )
17. ECU tune
18. 6000k HID kit

My car mods:
1. Clear side markers
2. Painted grille (matte black)
3. Remus exhaust
4. Hawk front brake pads
5. Rear Akebono brake pads
6. Clear fog lens
7. 19x8.5 Eurotech wheels
8. De-badged
9. Tinted Windows/tail lights
10. Resonator and secondary cat delete

Just came in last night from k1 motorsport. Thanks Tom! Will be installing next week. Just ordered the rears recently.

 

Exhaust was installed last year. Summer 2007.I will be posting sound clips tomorrow.

Yeah i know i need a drop. I have some H&R and i was going to cheap it out but i'll blow out my shocks eventually and made the right decision to go with some c/o's.

Yeah but things keep adding onto the list and its not in order yet. Car sounds much more aggressive without the cat. Without the resonator was ok but i wasn't satisfied and couldn't get a raspier sound. My exhaust will change soon though.

 

I tride to get a sound clip of my car today but unfortunately wasn't working out the way i planned it.

In the mean while, stay tune for more mods coming up this week

'05 side mirror blinkers (some discoloration on the side molding but who cares since it doesn't show)

At first I personally didn't like the new ones but i learned to appreciate them

 

Decided to go to TWS yesterday and get my SS brake lines installed. Only fronts since the rear is still on its way.

*On the other hand, I went to discount tire the other day and got one of my tires patched. I saw that they did brakes and asked how much to get the lines installed. One of the tech's didn't know what i was talking about. The manager gave me a quote of $300 for all 4 lines installed . I know it's crazy.

Review:
- Stoptech's SS brake lines are superb
- Gave me less gap on braking
- Braking is also much more firmer and better

damn, i want to get some SS lines! but until dude responds and i can get the damn c32 brakes!

 

How much did TWS charge to install the brake lines?

 

Yeah the SS lines is definitely a good mod!


TWS charged me $60 for the install w/ brake bleed. Instead of $300 from discount tire LOL

 

Can you feel any difference?

 

To tell you the truth i can. Much better braking power.

 

I was wondering what the part numbers were for the clear blinkers. . . guess I know what my next mod will be, thanks for posting that
