help with my car please..
hey i was wondering if it was commonfor c230's fuel pumps to go bad.. my car has been having some problems and i thought it was a crank position sensor after researching the symptoms but it turned out to be a fuel pump. my mechanic ran a test to see if the fuel pumps were going bad and he stated that they were causing the problems i was having. a few days ago i was driving my car back to school and as i shifted into second gear and my car hesitated and shut down and i tried to start it again and it the engine would shake violently and shut down after a few moments again. im only asking because ive been reseaching the forums for something similar and from my search havent come with anything solid. i called my local dealership today and they stated that i have two fuel pumps in my 02 c230 kompressor coupe ( its the base model ) .. but when i search online i can only find one.. the parts guy at the dealership said that one of the pumps has a sensor on it and one doesnt so im kinda confused on what the internets ( parts stores eg. rockauto.com and autohauseaz.com) and my local dealerships telling me.. please help i i am in deep dispair..
