CJ,
they were selling a few pre-facelift bumpers on ebay, but i believe they were blue and black. but it doesnt matter, since you have to get the lip painted as well.
WHILE were on the topic. I think it would look hottttt if we molded the lip TO the bumper. it'd look sexy as hell. and I think you should do that CJ!

Do you have any pictures that are a little brighter. I did something like that but i actually took out the lower grill, cut out the stock plastic middle and then tried to glue on a silver mesh thing i bought from eBay. Well yeah that didn't work so now i have to go buy that lower grill from Mb and try something else..

Oh and those bumpers on ebay, I saw those too, and they have like a scratch or something, but fixable. So I wouldnt mind buying it, but I would rather try to find one here in the local salvage yard first before anything.

To my 05 bumper? If that's what you're talkin about, I've always thought about it and I don't know how that would work since the middle portion is not proportional to the little side thingies. It looks like an odd job, but if it were done right, I think it would look great.

Yes, a prefacelifted bumper is what I'm after. Here's a pic of Citronc230k03's facelifted bumper:
As you can see, the middle portion where the radiator grille is located, it is a little pulled down to be parallel with the little diffusers on the sides of the car. I think it looks ok IMO, but the problem is that it looks too high. I honestly think that the bumper somewhat resembles the M3 bumpers, but again, these bumpers are too high compared to the M3 bumpers where they sit real low.

im not exactly sure what you mean... i could take pictures of the underpart of my bumper.... but i think the best way is for CJ to take his off and take a high resolution pic of it so we can see all the fittings. then for prefacelift bumper owner to do the same.

yeah, lol midnight if you can please take similar pics...
anyways CJ, you see the little curve between the "splitter" and the center of the bumper? that might need to be molded in, I believe the splitter part of the bumper is the same as teh prefacelift ones.

ok so i took three pictures (profile, half of front, and entire front). but the entire front pic got deleted by accident and i am too lazy to go back down to take another one (i live on the 9th floor in a condo). hopefully these are sufficient. if not i can take more.

CJ,
I think there is a high chance that the B lip can fit!
I mean, the lip is bolted under the 2 "splitters" but again, you might get this gap between the lip and the center part of the bumper. I think you can fill this
