03 g35 coupe...........02 c32 Sold
i had a smiliar problem on my c32. someone told me it could be the throttle actuator or the throttle actuator harness. I spent $50 on the harness and some one told me you can fix it with a zip tie. I took at look at the harness and found out the plastic tabs that hold the harness together broke. I zip tied it shut and i didnt have problems with the esp module going out anymore.
I basically fixed the problem for 10cents. I'm keeping the harness for a rainy day and eventually will replace it. Not sure if it applies to the regular w203's since it doesn't have the super charger. I know there was a tsb for that same harness for the c55's though.
Anyways, just wanted to share my experience.

Thank you. I checked all 4 and no broken wire or disconnection. It's at the dealers now for alignment. I'm hoping it's because of the alignment. If it's because of the different wheel size, I'm not sure how I can fix that. I'll post update in a few hours.

Ok so my SA called me today and told me the ESP warning went on cause my car was way out of alignment. After alignment the ESP turned off. I think it might have been due to the pothole and new rims. I hope it stays off so I can finally enjoy my new shoes

My Uncle have a similiar problem with his 2002 w203, and I connected my DAS and it says that there is a fault stored on the yaw sensor, I deleted it just to confirm and it appeared again.
Any one knows if that is causing the problem of the ESP ligth ON and ESP actuating sometimes after 100Km/h while driving straigth!?
Or just could be a wheel sensor? but if it was shoudn't there be a fault stored for the faulty sensor?
Thanks for any help

more on ESP
Hi Guys,
I drove today on the Express way and during sudden braking, I could feel something holding back (like my brakes locking) then ESP Light comes on.
I noticed this everytime I come off a fast run then have to slow down and apply the brakes.
Has anybody experienced this?
BTW, I drive a W203 2001 C200 Kompressor.
Yaw Sensor has been replaced last 12 months.
Running on Size 235x40xR18 Wheels.
Need your valuable inputs, please.
Many Thanks

Your ESP module might be going bad because of oil contamination or oxidative corrosion at the electrical connections. It probably does need replacement. I've heard of other people who had ESP modules going bad because of bad electical connections from contamination or corrosion.
The fact that your car fishtails alot is nothing unusual since your traction control does not work right now. Mine did that too because I permanently have ESP/BAS disabled. Good tires and LSD helps keep the car from fishtailing now.
Don't drive your coupe in the snow or the rain right now til you get it fixed.
