saw a C240 with the left fog being used as the left turn signal?????
is this the automatic bulb substitution at work ????

at first I thought, what a f*$#ed up car! then I started to think, that's pretty smart !

99% its bulb substitution, happened to me once wen my turn signal went bust, the foglamps were d ones substituted. its better to have blinking fogs than a blinking headlamp...right?

The only bulb substitution I'm aware of is in the tailight assemblies. I bet that car had the engineering wiring change installed wrong for the turn signal lights burning out.

Can't you just test this by pulling one of the turn signal bulbs out of it's socket and observing what happens?

im 99.9% sure coz wen my front turn signal bulb failed, my foglight substituted it. bulb substitution works both for front and rear.
