Paging BrabusCClass - Help with HID light

Have u had a chance to work on new method to get rid of light faulty code? The second time I was in dealer, there were two service advisors and a technican but still couldn't solve the on and off light problem even after enable xenon on DAS setting? Please help. Thanks

i remember brabus saying that he had it wired directly to a switch, as opposed to the oem one. i believe this will solve your problem. go to a good stereo shop and they can run you a direct wire to a switch to power the xenons. the only thing is that you will have to manually turn them on/off.

The hella kit I got a while back came wired to be hooked up:

1 to 12V+ on battery
1 to Ground
1 to 12V+ off the original light plug
1 to Ground off the original light plug

That all went into a relay which in turn hooked up to the ballast which of course fed the lamps.

I cut the relays out and went direct - but that should give you enough idea on how to bypass the system and do it without going direct.
