my R brake light is out... but its not the bulb plz advise
so my right brake bulb went out today as it shows on the dash... i changed the bulb went back into the car and its still out. so maybe bad bulb? used the bulb from the L brake side and its still OUT! wtf is goin on? the thing is this right brake bulb has gone out a few times in the past 2-3 since i've owned this car for a few years. I have S class tails but i use OEM wiring i'm guessing i will take my car into the dealer but i think i'm gonna have to switch out my tails... now i gotta dig through my garage to find them.
has anyone had this problem before???

Sheldon, check the wiring on the socket. I had the exact same problem. The negative wire wasn't making a good connection.
Remove the bulb and pull the metal part out. Take the black wire and remove some of the plastic shielding so it can make a better connection.
