I've driven a W202 for 10 years and sold it last week, but its time to get a newer one.

I'm looking to buy a 2006 or 2007 C230 with 20-30k miles on it. Are there any common issues that I should know about?

Also, what are the terms of the MB factory warranty, and is it fully transferable (even from private party sale i.e. not dealer)? Is maintenance included like the same year BMW's?

I don't have a 206-7 so I can't comment on the common issues.
But as far as maint. no, after 2004 it's not included.
Warranty is transferable, but be sure to check with a dealer.

The extended warranty requires paperwork be filled out...otherwise it becomes invalid. The owner of the extended warranty can cash it in.

So not sure on the standard warr. so check it out.
