I remember people used to get stabbed out at the Jack in the Box by Story and King.
ONE time only I was out there, and bought a newspaper at a 7-11. Some wasted fool wanted it and actually pulled a knife on me. I think he was drunk, I figured I coulda taken him, but back in those days SJ was the "KJ" capital of the world (ie PCP).
I just told him, "Dude, COPS!!!".
He turned to look, says "where?" and by that time I was already in my car.
I never went back.
Used to be the low rider cruising capital out there at Story and King.
Damn.

What are the odds you can hold off nine attackers with a bat? More likely they would take it away and use it against you.
Regrettably, I don't see how you could have changed the outcome here. There are some angry people in the world. Unfortunately you encountered nine of them in one place. I hope they are prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

yeah dude all of the East side is nothin but abunch of pissed off people that didnt make it.. i still go over there to get my haircut but other than thatt im straight!

thanks man, thats the first thing i thought of was to get my bat but then the outcome would of been worse and i had no time to do anything.
my car should be done in 2 weeks the parts were already ordered from germany.

Then the Cholo's and lowriders had a major foothold and KJ was king.
Then the Vietnamese people came and things seemed to calm down,
hard working, good family ethics. So, who's angry?
Their kids?
Things change...been down El Camino in Santa Clara lately?
Thats where the rest of us cruised.
Now it's Korean land, the whole strip! The taco bell is a Korean restaraunt.
Nothing wrong with that....just.....odd.
I mean, like did someone run an ad in So. Korea and tell everyone and all the businesses to move there? ..wierd.
All the signs are in Korean.
Then you got like Brokaw and Lundy area...not a single sign in English, just chinese. Ha, I used a Chinese dentist over there to pull a tooth, he was like 1/5 the price of everyone else. (on the recommendation of a forum member I might add)
I wonder how these things come about, but I don't have a problem with it, I'm just curious how it happens.

In Santa Cruz, the boardwalk area is the worst of it all.
They call it beach flats.
One of the worst of the worst street is
"Bixby".
I had my car windsheild smashed in by the Boardwalk when it nearly new, 6 years ago. Local kids told me matter of factly it was 'cause my car is blue, and it's a "red" neighborhood. They relayed stories of girls they'd known being beaten for wearing blue clothing.
Odd how the poorest of the poor and ignorant can afford to live a block from the beach?

ive seen acouple of asian but not to the point were im shocked but i get what u mean... seriously its not like they are all in one place. Its ALL of san jose.
I used to cruise on el camino and santa clara but aloong time ago that was the spot to be at! well all of santa clara since i live downtown i would see all kinds of car styles; lowriders, rice, luxury, choppers evrything but lately everything has died down. The place i go to now is montegue expressway off 280 where the dennys is at, you should hit that up the cars and races are legit

Yeah they would have.. they were standing infront of the store and i passed right infront then i went to go park.
But GOOD news i did sue them and they have to pay for my parts, car rental, and im getting some money myself too, holla!!!
