Does anyone know what this cable is for?
I was searching for the AUX-Input cable connection on my 2007 C280 4matic and the only open connection I could find in the passenger side footwell was this cable with blue wires (Female 5 Pin connection)
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Bad news. They stopped putting the aux cable in the rocker around the end of 2005. If you want an ipod in the car get the ipod integration kit from MB. You will have to take the head unit out to install it but is is really simple with the right instructions. Look at the post I used. After you do the installation you will need to get the dealer to activate it which took about 5 minutes and $35 or so. I have a 2007 C280 4matic as well. Bought it about a year ago and love it.

You are welcome. I looked around at the various dealers in town but found the best deal at Keenan Motors in Pa. 215-348-0800 (I kept their card in my planner)

I think it is in the $300 range. It was about a year ago and my memory sucks but that is close.
