Need to replace this intake tube
Hey everyone,
Last night I was checking out my cam sensors for the oil leak and was leaning a little on this tubing in the front of the engine.
When I stood up and looked down the tube ripped.
Like wax paper or tar paper.
I duct'd it for now, but would rather replace it with a metal tubing or something stronger than that stock version.
Does anyone have recommendations or possibly have the part number for OEM if there is no alternative?

Personally, since there are no documented gains from the ram air intake mod, I think it's more prudent to just replace it with the OEM tube. Cost me $45 bucks at the stealer and even if it only lasts another 50k miles, whatever, I'll have sold the car by then...

Those things are made of recycling paper, so they're only last a few years.
I think ram-air with fiberglass is a way to go! Maybe you'll gain a few HP as well.
