Windshield wipers work like S@$t!

'07 C280 4matic. Bought it in April and just drove it in my first snow storm. The car works great in the snow but unfortunately I can't see out the front window. It is like the blades won't conform to the glass and leave a big durty spot in my line of vision. They worked great in the rain above freezing but not now at 25 degrees. Ok, so maybe frozen? NOT! Twisted, bent and wiped then and no different. Maybe old, so I replaced them with new OEM. Work better? NOT! 10% improvement.

Both driver and passenger side leave untouched glass and I wind up laying on the center arm rest to see.

Am I alone here or have any of you solved this problem? Aftermarket????

Thanks, Greg

i've had that before in several cars and what i do is to lift the arm and let it fall against the windshield and then they work fine

I agree. The Rain-X fluid is great.

Also, I just put a new set of OEM blades on about 2 weeks ago, and they lift off of the windshield for the last 8 inches of the swipe on the left side. They were expensive, but I'm ditching them. With winter coming to Chicago, I need wipers that wipe. I'm going to try a set of Bosch tomorrow.
