the profit margin is 6.5 % any benz. it's just a matter what type of relasionship you have and how hot the product is. for example no one is getting a discount on anything that has the new 55 motor in it, until they cool off and become more aval. but if you want to buy a ml 320 you could get a small discount depending on the dealer you go to. I can get a discount because I am in the business .........

You can get employee price, or just a discount from a dealer that you know? Because I was talking about employee price through Mercedes-Benz, which is below invoice. Is this what you can get? Because it sure makes a difference on something like a CL.

dealers, authorized benz dealers do not sell below invoice 20 yrs in business tells me that, and i never heard of an employee discount that's a new one to me.by the way like the sl500 i just sold as i said before even i can not get a discount on hot merchandise. regardless of who may tell you different.

I think the employee purchase program started about a year ago, maybe a little more. I was the first one at my dealer to purchase a car on this plan. That was last May, but I think the program was in effect before that and none of our managers ever said anything. It is indeed below invoice, but I think there are certain cars that do not apply. You probably would not be able to get any of the new 55 cars on this plan. My coupe stickered for $29,885 plus CD, and I think the amount that went into the lease was like $26,400 or something like that, including the CD.

Our salespeople used to get their cars at invoice, with the dealer being the one not making any money. But now, this program is a Mercedes-Benz program, so while the dealers still don't make much money on it, if any, I think they get the car replaced with another or something like that. So they get an extra unit allocation. I'm not sure exactly how it works. There was actually a special C-coupe deal out recently for employees that was even better than what I got. There must be too many and they want to get rid of them.

Anyways, I guess you wouldn't be able to get in on this program, because it sounds like you are not affiliated with a benz dealer, but it's nice to hear that they will give you pretty good discounts.

Looks good and it certainly looks sportier and more unique in person! I have an identical wing and have received nothing but compliments. However mine is not constructed by Schatz, but rather from formymercedes.com. I didn't opt for Schatz as I found it to be quite heavy (almost double the weight in fact), preventing the trunklid from swinging open by itself. Additionally, Performance Products pricing on it was much higher after considering painting.

The place is called Tint King 978-670 2927 I have had my last ten cars done by him his name is brian, you can tell him i sent you . He cuts all the paper by computer so it comes out perfect. I just had my 2003 cl500 done and my wifes 2003 c240 done.In the last couple of weeks.

Hey brian, how do u like the C240 4 matic? Is it really slow on acceleration? I may consider one in the near future. Also, how much did you pay for the wheel and tire combo you have, i like it! I have heard quite a few bad stories about tint king (about 1-2 years ago), did they improve their operations?

Al I have never a problem with tint King, I personally do not listen to anybody I judge people on what they do for me, until they prove other wise. As per the conversation we had about FMW. The tire and wheel pkg. cost me about $1500.00 that's dealer cost not retail !!!!!! As far as the power on the c240 it's a little slow off the start and based on the cars you have I do not think you will like the power. It's my wifes car and she's fine with it, considering she drives maybe 3,000 miles per year.
