changing trunk light

changing trunk light
I need help accessing the trunk light and changing the bulb i tried a screwdriver to pry it open but it doesnt bulge.

any ideas?

Keep prying at the right side of the plastic light unit and it should come loose as there is a pressure tab there. Try not to gouge the metal while you are doing this. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture as I just changed mine recently, but it was a pain to get out. There was only one way for it to come out in my car as the left portion of the unit is where the wiring comes in. I hope that helps.

Are you switching to aftermarket bulbs or did it just go out?
