So i just got my SB last week (after a debacle in shipping) and hadn't had time to install yet...and as i was sitting in my room i decided to look it over just to see what it was all about and noticed i was missing one of the prongs in the male end of the SB...then i decided to follow that all the way to the female side and noticed a little red wire that was tucked down in that looked as if it had been cut at the base and removed for some reason...anyone have an explanation for this or has someone/something tampered with it?

 

That's normal. The BMW use the same hook ups, but have that 6th prong hooked up.

o so MB dont use all 6 prongs?
