I have ever so many witty rejoinders to some of todays posts, yet I am unable to post them. Good thing that I don't work for the post office, or I'd be oiling up my AK-47 by now!

 

Best excuse to give when calling off from work: "The voices are telling me to clean the guns."

 

I've used that excuse already, though I suppose that my credibility might go up a few notches if I actually had some guns to clean.

 

Know what you mean Mapman, lately the site's been acting pretty odd. On the "going postal" topic, in college I had a friend who had a summer job at the post office, he told me that years ago the post office where he worked hired a whole bunch of people as part of some government program, and that these people didn't do anything. He told me there was a guy who would come to work and then hide in a closet all day - and others who would go out at lunch time and get plastered in the parking lot. He said after working there for a couple of weeks he wanted to bring in a gun and start shooting people.

Ah, the joys of civil service.
