Question for people with Comand AND CD Changer

I have a minor question. If you have both COMAND and a CD changer in your glove box, can you place the Navigation CD-Rom for the COMAND system as one of the discs in the changer? Or are you REQUIRED to keep the Nav disk as the CD in COMAND dash CD slot? The reason I ask this is because I'd prefer to keep the navigation CD-rom in the changer so that I have the dash cd slot available for loading in discs quick as opposed to loading them into the changer.

Although I don't have COMAND, my guess is that the navCD has to remain in the dash slot. I'm sure it never even occured to them to have the additional functionality of letting it remain in the changer to leave the dash slot open.

You can put music or Nav CD in Comand slot, but can't put Nav CD in changer.
Why not just get a 2nd magazine for the changer?
I did, and it fits next to changer in glove box.

So effectively, if I want the navigation active all the time (and I do), then the in dash cd slot will never be free as it is only available for the nav disc. To insert a new CD, I'd have to put it in the changer. Thanks alot guys! That's what I suspected. I assume that the changer doesn't have the CD-Rom along with music CD functionality that it would need to be able to hold the nav CD.

I have your configuration and keep the navigation CD in the dash--the changer is audio CD only. There is nothing in the COMAND instruction book that says you can operate the navigation from the CD-changer.
