C-Coupe ROCKET??

I was driving the C-coupe today, the temp was about 24 and i had to merge onto this 4 lane road.... There weren't a lot of cars but most of them were traveling at high speeds so i stepped all the way down.... i started from 20 or 30 mph and i was up to 80 mph after only a few seconds... i've never noticed the car having so much torque... WEIRD!!!...

BY the feel, usually the SLK... The SLK's engine is louder and revs higher... don't really know why.... the C-coupe is a fun car to drive and i don't feel as closed in haha.... both are good everyday drivers... However today the C-coupe was on steroids or something LOL.... ... VROOM VROOM BABY!!

The cold air flowing across the intercooler keeps the intake air temps down which creates more power, but I doubt you would notice the difference so much to impress you that much.

What always impresses me is 5th and 6th gear acceleration. During my commute, the clogged 2-lane highway opens to 3 lanes. I'm usually going 50-55 in 5th then gas it and shift to 6th at 4000-4500. Within a few hundred feet I'm going 75-80.

2003 MB C230 coupe
another thing i love that compliments the speed. the smoothness. the car accelerates like it's on a magnetic rail. so smooth!! there is a stretch of newly paved interstate where i live. i love driving on it. it's like you're flying.

I concur with this assessment 100%. The acceleration from 60-100mph is better than any car I've ever owned.
