I'd recommend going black.

Personally, the chrome looks cheap like a childs toy.
Plus, going with black will make you front look wider, rather than narrower with the chrome.

Yeah I was thinking that too but I just wanted to see what the people here thought. Just wanted to get some opinions. Do you know any place online that you would recommend ?

I got mine from www.123mercedes.com. They shipped very promtly and it included the longer, curved hood latch.

Now about Quality:
It looks decent enough and I can't complain for the price. Definitely not as good quality as OEM. It's made in taiwan just like most on eBay or whatever. They told me it was the exact same grill as the one sold my www.formymercedes.com.

if ur wheels are chrome, then u must love chrome.. so buy the chromed grill...
if theyre not, then ur stylr is not "pimpmyride" and go black..

Definitely black. It seems like the chrome is a good match for a silver car, but the black one with the chrome trim goes well with the black car.

It's $180 at that website compared to ebay which is $179 plus $35 for shipping.

Get the black one. The "chrome" one has just too much of it. I'd just stick with the 05+ stock grille but I'm biased.

Hey guys, I just want everyone opinion since I have not personally seen these in person and to Piggy Back on Big Kev's thread about the Grill. I don't want to purchase an aftermarket grill but eventually want to get my OEM grill painted black.
Now my question is..
Which would look better? Color matched Gloss Black OR Flat black? Again I've never seen either color matched gloss black or the Flat black in person on a Black W203.

I'm leaning towards the Gloss Color matched black since I think the flat black would stick out like a sore thumb on my factory OEM paint.

Don't get flat black. There's someone with one and I think it really sticks out =/
Glossy black is better, but depending on how dirty your car gets and what not... they might not match up exactly.
