02 c 320 wagon cd player
Hello,my wife drives a c 320 wagon and wants a cd player, are the cd changers for this car ok or should I install an after market one. Any suggestion? Thanks.

Modern Mercedes cars have CD changers that different from aftermarket changers. The audio signal from the player is carried to the head unit on a fiber optic cable. Up to model year 2004 the communiction system was called D2B. The later S203 (wagons) used MOST. The two systems cannot be mixed, so you must be careful to obtain a player that matches the D2B system in your wife's car. A forum sponsor MbenzNL.com has players for a very reasonable price.
