anyone know how to actually access the rear 2 speakers under the rear window? I removed the shields from inside the car only to find attached foam with no way (minus cutting) to reach the actual speaker! So i assume the trunk is the only option...also in my trunk along the black support bar that runs under the rear deck where these speakers are housed are 2 black coverings approx 4" in diameter...when pulled off they simply house an individual spring and some other components that seem to be able to move in some fashion...any assistance would be appreciative!!!!

 

Maverik - I'm assuming you are talking about the rear deck subwoofer, right? If so, you have to remove the rear deck, which is NOT a trivial job (rear headrest removed, C pillar molding removed, etc..)

Pictures are worth a thousand words - take a couple and I'll see if I can talk you through it - I don't have my sedan anymore..

 

lol ya wow enough said...i am not interested in doing that if thats the case! when i had my subs put in the trunk the audio place wanted to take out those speakers to make it sound better but i was like no i want all of my speakers thankyou...they only wanted 50 for it which it sounds was not unreasonable...but i was just thinking of replacing my speakers one day and it looks like those 2 will be staying put! lol thanks

any thoughts about the 2 clips in the trunk?
