M112 N/A Performance Mod List....
With all the recent products that have shown up I would Like to start a list, with brand and pricing of all the mods available for our beloved M112...
I will try my best to do a list, if I leave something out please correct me..
Also, If you have any of these mods or a combination of them and would like to share your opinions and thoughts and them go ahead!
Intake Side:
1. K&N / Greenfilters replacement elements (aprx. $80)
2. Renntech Carbon Fiber airbox (aprx. $1000)
3. Needswings intake (SLK) (aprx. $350)
4. TVT Design intake (SLK) (aprx. $300)
5. Overbore throttle body (Done by mbworld member on CLK320) (aprx. $200)
Fuel / Ignition / Software:
1. TVT injector upgrade & Tune (aprx. $850)
2. A plethora of "Software" companies, not sure which one has the best gains... Renntech, Powerchip, Speed Innovation, LET, TVT...etc.
3. Magnecor Race spark plug wires (aprx. $250)
4. IK16 or IK20 spark plugs
Mechanical:
1. Schrick Camshafts (aprx. $2000)
2. EVOsport underdrive pulleys (aprx. $350)
3. LET underdrive pulleys
4. AMS Crank Pulley (aprx. $550)
Cooling:
1. 180 degree thermostat
2. -10 degree Fan mod (done by several members)
3. Phenolic spacer (not sure brand)
Headers / Exhaust:
1. Evosport headers
2. VRP Headers (SLK avail.)
3. Kleeman headers & exhaust
4. AMS headers
5. Supersprint headers & exhaust
6. Eisenmann exhaust
7. couple other exhausts im forgeting..
of course, one coudnt do a thread like this and leave out the beloved SPRINTBOOSTER ..

6. 2.5" cat-back exhaust
with my 18" replica wheels I raced two bone stock slk320 (16" wheels) and I outran both by 1 car lengths each time... So obviously my mods have done something for the car's performance... If I hadnt gone nuts about the idea of supercharging and spending lots of modding money on gathering all the bits and pieces Id probably have by now the most N/A modded SLK320
