If memory serves, it's in the back corner of the driver's side of the engine bay. That's what my feeble mind remembers, at least.
As far as removing it, it's in a tray that's crimped together. Once you remove it, it's very hard to put it back together so that it still looks virginal, which a good tech would pick up on if you have it in for warranty work. As R Kelly says, once you break the cherry, there's no going back.
