Euro Split Mirror Install
My car gets into LB on sunday and should be at MB of San Diego sometime next week. I bought the Illuminated Door Sills, Euro Mirrors, Audio10, Digital Climate Control (09 85), E-Brake Cover last month. I'm having the sills installed during dealer prep, and will do the climate control, audio10, and e-brake cover myself since those are easy to install and a waste of money if the dealership does it. The mirrors I'm not sure how to install and because of not knowing the removal or installation of the mirrors themselves I'm wondering if I should have the dealership do it. On my VW I installed them myself from instructions on vwvortex.com. Are the mirrors easy to remove and install, or should I just pay to have the dealership install them? Thanks!

Hate to do this one to you. STFF
There are threads on here showing installed pics and giving some instruction on how to do it yourself.

no you will not loose the auto dim function. the mirros i bought a for left hand drive vehicles, so the driver side mirror has the auto dim function in it. the back side of it there is like an extra connection and the mirror glass is thicker and feels definately heavier than the passenger mirror which is thiner and not as complex looking on the backside. the driver side mirror cost me like $250 and the passenger side was $66, because it was not auto dimming.
