Correction, Drove An '05 C230 Kompressor SS
Easy fix,
The rear sun shade needs to be sprayed with some WD40 down the slide channels.
Then have someone hit the button while you pinch the top of the slides in-word.
A few times opening and closing will work the WD40 in.

The Chrome and Purpleish trim, Just CF wrap it!!

How well has all of your other CF wrapped pieces held up?

Did you do the door panels or steering wheel inserts?
Oh man I didnt know you needed info, I took a long absence from this forum and wasnt able to answer this.
So how did you do with the vinyl?
I didnt do my steering wheel inserts, just the aluminum trims and my chrome key fob.

Thanks for the suggestion, I was ready to just break it off instead of having the dealership bill me hundreds of dollars for it. I really hope it's just gunk from the grease, I mean, it was greased pretty heavily when I tried pushing it down.

I went to an auto store and saw blackout tapes. I got 3 rolls and I hope it stays in place as strong as the vinyls I used on my exterior. I'll use that for the chrome mouldings and window trims.

After 1 yr, 3 travels to las vegas with speeds up to 125mph for 1-2 hrs on the US93 highway, I think I can safely say the 3m dinoc vinyl is a good buy.

awesome ride man, reminds me of mine, I JUST did my rear bumper like you, I used plasti dip.

I love the front bumper is really stands out, I went with cf lip... I want to start cf wrapping like you. I know 3m di noc is the best, recommend a cheap place to get it?
