My mirror was hit, no damage to the shell or to the glass, yet the dimming/heating functions have stopped working.

I took the cover off and checked the connections, nothing loose. Any ideas what else to check? or how much a replacement mirror is?

 

Not sure but if you do end up having to replace the glass, consider getting the Euro mirrors. They're curved so no blind spots.
