My dealer in Marin County, CA told me that my car is scheduled to be built the third week of December. I'm getting the K2 option which, as I understand it, means the phone and CD changer will be installed in the US. What's a reasonable timeframe for them to do this and ship it to me? The dealer says that west coast deliveries go through the Panama Canal and come into LA. ANy thoughts? I have a '95 Integra to sell, and I'm trying to get the timing right. Thanks.

 

Mine went into production on sept. 20, picked up from dealer on oct. 24. seems like the normal wait is 4-5 weeks. hope this helps

 

That sounds right - the east-coast cars are unloaded in Jacksonville. I didn't understand why they would round Florida to unload the cars. If they were going to continue on through the canal, then that makes sense.
