Could this be right? I don't know, I bought it anyway.
so I was browsing on eBay this AM. I typed Mercedes W203 on the search field and on the third page I came across this. The title clearly states ” Mercedes Benz W203 C Class Sport Trunk Spoiler Trim Lip" The price was shocking to me, I couldn’t believe it. It was $5.90! Yes! Five Dollars & Ninety Cents with $19.90 Shipping. I reviewed the add over and over to double, triple check to make sure I was seeing the right price.. Maybe they screwed up on the price and intended to price the item $59.00 rather than $5.90. So I went through the motion and paid a total of $25.80 shipped. I guess we'll have to wait and see if I get an e-mail from the seller asking for more $$$. If they do Should I pay more in good faith? Or should I stick with the ebay policy and pay what it's advertised?
What do you guys think?
For those who don't care.. This would make a great deal for those who are w/o a spoiler and looking for something simple.

do not pay more, its clearly their fault and they are still bound by the legal rules of ebay. there are so many notices when you sell stuff to make sure you are listing it properly its clearly their responsiblity to list it correctly. its a legally binding contract now, there isnt much they can do to back out.

yeah looks like a BMW in the one of the pics, so the universal idea is probably right.
post some pics when you get it installed, i would be curious to see how it looks.
good luck!!

That's definitely a universal spoiler. Usually goes for about $20. I've seen it personally on a 3 series. I don't think it'll look good on the C class IMO. Also is unpainted so you'll have to get it painted or paint it yourself.

well after all its a lip spoiler so not too much to worry about concerning quality.. only issue is fitment, you better hope its made for w203 and not that the seller noticed that 3series lip spoiler can somehow fit...
keep us updated..

The price is correct. It's a universal and it's not going to look nice. I saw this on a 330. It's a thin small strip doesn't look as good as the C55 or C32 spoiler. Don't waste your money.
Just search W203 Spoiler and sort it by lowest price and you can see they all go around that price.

hmmm... Universal fit huh?? Now i'm concerned for my $25.00. hahaha. If it's universal I may return it with the return shipping at their expense. I dont' want to deal with a spoiler that will not fit correctly and is not specifically for our W203. If it was universal, they should have stated Universal fit. I would have to fight it under false or inaccurate description.

The picture with the black plastic spoiler doesn't look the same as the one installed on the trunk(looking better quality).
It is likely tobe the black plastic universal spoiler that you are paying for...

Don't feel too bad. It might still look nice.

look at the white 3 series. Do you see how the left part of the wing is a little off (universal)? Because its round, I just hope you dont get that on your W203. Have hope it might actually look nice.

wait till you get that lip in your hands.... lol...
It might look nice... but its a wobbly piece of rubber... nothing wrong with that... one of my customers ordered one and it came rolled up in a small package... he was like? How is the spoiler in that box?
His didnt fit and the color didnt match at all....
If its the same one he got off ebay...

So last Thursday I received the Spoiler. It didn't come in a small box rolled up. But as a few have mentioned Universal fit. They were right! It is a universal fit. This isn't even really a spoiler at all. It's just shaped like one and they cut into specific pieces in the length of each car they specify it for. It's rubber or polyurethane strip that you usually see stuck on the side of box trucks. If you've rented a U-Haul, it's similar to the rubber pieces stuck inside the truck so your furniture doesn't get damaged or scratched.
The piece actually looks okay to me. Not the OEM but slightly larger than the M3 spoiler. I'm going to make it work. I got a quote from a local body shop and they said $80 painted and installed. $105 for a spoiler isn't bad. The only prob is. the piece I received is about 1/4 inch short on each side. I contacted the seller for a resolution. They've been pretty responsive. I'll have to wait and see what they propose.
