2007 Mercedes-Benz C230 Sport
Hey guys, it looks like the InstallUniversity link posted above by "C24owner" might work for my year too, but I am truly unsure. I have a 2007 C230 Sport which I believe it to be the W203. My door looks just like the one in the link: (http://www.installuniversity.com/mb/...rabhandle.html)

Will this work for my 2007 C230 Sport?

It is a horribly designed piece, I agree, but there's no way they should pick up the tab. But feel free to push it up the food chain if you want, you may get lucky.

And yes, your Ranger does have better-designed plastic parts. Sh*t happens.
I have owned so many cars over my 50 years of driving I have lost count. One car - a Mazda 626 - I owned for 21 years. Most others Australian-built/assembled, or Japanese, UK and some Europeans. Even owned a couple of cars in USA and Asia. **None** have ever had a door puller handle fail. None!! This is simply crap engineering by Mercedes which hides behind a reputation it earned years ago but over the last 20 years has suffered at the hands of the Accountants to reduce manufacturing costs at the expense of quality. The inside door handle should be strong enough to be a support for people getting in/out of the car. Crap quality has nothing to do with age - it is just poor design, and another example of the loss of quality in the C-class. No other excuse.
