Cruise control display ??
On MBUSA website features for the coupe it states:
Electronic cruise control with digital speed readout upon engagement.
I don't get any sort of indication that cruise is on, other than it takes over. Has anyone else seen this feature??

I think they're referring to the option to select the Digital Speed readout available through programming your MFD to show MPH/KPH. I agree it has nothing to do with speed control. I would have thought the statement meant that there was some indication in the MFD to show when Cruise is engaged. I think the statement is misleading.
The 3.2L motor does a great job in keeping the speed set, so you can watch the speed not change once engaged (boring, like watching paint dry).

On european cars our cruise controls are combined with a speed limiter function, you press the end of the cruise lever in to select this and a yellow light on the stalk lights. Theres a way of setting a permanent limiter aswell using the same stalk.
You then get a readout on the speedo showing the max speed.
I wonder if MB have cut and pasted the European descriptions and just deleted some words ..
