do u have the gps antenna installed? i had the same problem too when i installed the stock command unit. the antenna didn't come in till later one. once i added the antenna the time didn't fix itself. i left it over nite n when i checked it in the morning it was fine. so i think the antenna will pick up the gps signal n time.

Hi,
Can you guys list your Part Numbers of the MCSII units you installed? I am looking to install a unit in my c230...I have an aftermarket antenna as well.
Please post any information you can! Was it all plug in play - did you have to have your LOOP programmed...that mybe part of your problem as well!
How hard was it to unplug / plug in the fiber optic cables?
Thanks,
Jake

i don't no the part number but it was out of a 05 c55. its just plug n play. i have a friend at that works at the merc service n he reprogrammed my on screen dashboard display so i can see the directions on there. the only problem i have is that the voice guide is a little low but thats ok. the whole install took about maybe 20 minutes

Guys, im sick of hearing this posted on this forum time and time again. Read the threads, search the forums. You will find part numbers and all the info you need. Anyways its not always plug and play. It depends on your setup vs the previous owner's setup. You have about a 30% chance of installing your new comand and just getting a nice black screen and a whole lot of nothing, in which case you need programming.
