Hey everyone..

I've been searching and trying to dig up information on this procedure. Have Any c230-240 owners upgraded? My friend wants to upgrade to c32 projector xenon headlights ( oem ) but we are not too sure about the wiring ? does he need a new harness ? anyone have insight ?

Thanks in advance!

What year is the C240 and the C32. It all depends on the years of the headlights.

plug and play. all you do is have the dealer or whoever has STAR set the xenon setting to present.

Hi! i'm still a noob at this.. but i do have a question about the bixenon headlights. i've recently bought a set from a friend for my 2002 c230 coupe.
i notice that there is 2 plug inlets... i know that 1 of the inlet is for my for the harness that i already see on my car but the 2nd i cannot find anywhere?

that 2nd plug inlet located on the headlight unit near the ballast what is that for???

it should be for the auto leveler feature that comes with the car if you get bix standard...otherwise you just leave it open like i did when I installed them into my 05 c230k...the install is just plug and play + getting computer set to recognize the power reduction by switchign to bix (which is done by dealer or anyone with STAR software!) good luck you love it!

Hope someone could clear up this situation for me. Just need to know what I really need to do before I purchase BiX's for my 02 C240.. Here are the BiX's I was looking to purchase off of Ebay. Wanted some insight if I should get them or not, unless someone knows a vendor that sells BiX's for a cheaper price because these are pretty pricey..
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-BI-XENON-headlights-Mercedes-Benz-C-class-W203-S203-/400084411638?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d26e3a4f6&vxp=mtr
But anyways..
So lets say I did purchase OEM BiX's. It would pretty much be a plug n play but I would have to go to a shop or stealership that has STAR software to change the settings to xenon=present? Correct? Help a brotha out!

DEPO headlights from eBayer Fishcake321 are like $400. That's what the majority upgrade to. Not quite as good as OEM but for the price and lighting it's definitely an upgrade.
A local shop can change the preset.

Aaah, sweet!
I will definitely look into these! Spending $1600+ on OEM BiX's was definitely questionable.. I'll read around and find out about peoples experiences with these exact DEPO's. Would love to go OEM, but pockets just aren't deep enough..

As a DEPO user-
They're great, especially compared to the stock halogens. You can probably install them yourself unless you want to pay a shop $$$
