What are the cables in the trunk lid for?

What are the cables in the trunk lid for?
Installing a rear view camera I took the trunk liner out from behind the trunk lid. I noticed that there are two wires hanging on the back of the trunk lid behind the liner. I'm guessing one of these is for a sirius antenna? Not sure what the other one is for. They both look similar to coax connectors (with a pin in the middle) one looks sort of like a BNC connector.

Could one of these be for a rear view camera? I know that there is a 2 pin connector behind my head unit that is also connected to nothing.

They're both for the Sirius antenna, the gen 1 antenna had 2 separate leads, one for satellite Sirius, one for terrestrial Sirius (I've had satellite radio for 5 years, mostly XM, and never had terrestrial reception so I don't know if either company ever activated that feature). The Gen 2 antennas only have 1 lead

That makes sense. I don't think a rear view camera was ever an option on the W203 in any country. Thanks.

Yep, definitely the prewired leads for the sirius antenna. Just an FYI for Wagon owners... the pre-wired Sirius antenna leads are under the headliner about 15" behind the center roof dome/interior light.
